What is the most important issue Americans are dealing with today? What do we need to do to deal with this issue?

I personally think one of the most important issues Americans are dealing with today is stereotyping and what it's doing to our society. When you label someone, it may destroy their life and turn them into something they're not. Take for instance, you see a man walking around in a brightly colored jogsuit, very happy and perky, you almost automatically think "gay".
I know there are probably larger issues than this, such as the fact that chivilary is dead and guys are pigs most of the time, but stereotyping is something I'm personally strongly against.

To be honest there are very well more important issues than what someone thinks about another person. How about the fact that global warming ir occuring everyday or people are dieing because they are starving to death and your worried about what someone thinks about a guy in a joging suit! To me that sounds like your very conceded to just think about yourself all the time. Who cares what poeple think of you sometimes you wont even see them again or they are no importance to anyone. Who cares if guys are pigs as long as they stick to being a pig somewheres else. I would only care if they were a pig and they rapped someone.
You dont pick your life you just have to live it. The only person who can make things better in your life is yourself. So if your stuck on being judge then maybe something isnt right wherever you are. ONLY YOU CAN DO SOMETHING ABOUT IT. You cant wine and cry about anything. Sometimes you cant change anything and does it matter about the guy running in a bright colored suit. As long as hes happy who cares!
