Cultural Reflections on Body Image
What are some of the television shows that focus on body image? Why do you think these shows are so popular? What lesson might these shows be teaching us?

There's a big television show Americas Next Top Model. The typical model type has to be very slim know about the whole model industry you can’t be the bit wrong. The show goes through many girls in many ways their all different some skinny some plus size models. Many girls want to be a model because then they feel like their so pretty and everyone can see that if just more than the people the know can see that. They want everyone to know their name and why. So many people watch the show to see if they might have what it takes or loathe and see if they’re worse than what the girls on the show are. Anything is possible and when the girls leave the show crying I don’t know why because they know that there a beautiful girl no matter what someone thinks of them.

Excellent example, elizabeth irene! What an individual thinks about themselves is too often shaped by what others think about them. Many adults, as well as teens, fall into this trap. I hope more people are like you and realize that they need to realize how beautiful they truly are. If people see themselves as beautiful, others are more likely to do so as well. Thanks!
well you cant always have someone tell you that your not good enough for something because thats not right. no matter who you are or what you look like your the same as the next person. you can do anything that you set your mind to and if you want to be a model then you can do it, it just takes time and practice. you cant just breeze by in this world without doing something and expecting it to fall right into your hands.
